Sponsored: An Affordable Gentle Formula Alternative

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Sam’s Club. All opinions are 100% mine.

I breastfed both my babies. I LOVED nursing, for the most part. While it was tricky at first, I was proud of myself for sticking it out, and feel so blessed to have had that experience.

That said, I was truly thankful for the option of formula – particularly gentle formulas – with my son.

When you’re breastfeeding a fussy baby, there’s the unique challenge of not knowing if he or she is fussy because of something you ate, because of not producing enough milk, or because of producing too much milk! (overactive letdown).

So with Sammy, we decided to supplement with formula right from the beginning. If I was unsure about something I had eaten, or if I thought I wasn’t making enough milk, I knew I could just pull out the bottle. This also gave me a way to get much-needed breaks from time to time.

When I was approached about writing a sponsored post for the SIMPLY RIGHT™ selection of formulas (available at Sam’s Club), I was happy to do so. I understand how expensive formula can be, and I was happy to discover there are less expensive alternatives.

And although they don’t appear to offer a hypoallergenic formula, they do offer 2 options that may be gentler for fussy babies: Baby Care Gentle (comparable to Enfamil® Gentlease®) and Baby Care Sensitivity (comparable to Similac Sensitive®).

Some other features taken from the website:

It’s also less expensive than other brands. For instance, if you currently use Similac Sensitive®, you would save $554 per YEAR by switching (see screenshot below).

What do you think? Have you tried any of the SIMPLY RIGHT® formulas? Is price a concern for you when it comes to formula?
