A friend told me about this book this week and I have it on hold at the library. Has anyone read it?

From the description, it sounds like it's geared towards ADHD, but I can imagine some of the info would be helpful for 'spirited' children too.

I'm pretty sure it can help!!! ADHD are the worst case scenarios!!! BUT there is a HUGE difference between a ADHD child and a kid that throw's tantrums in the mall!!! I worked with ADHD kids at the hospital on the psych ward and got down to inject a medication to kids because they where in crisis... no book did the job! Because of the ADHD, they have learned behaviors and they are very hard to break because of the ADHD.....

ADHD kids dont have any control.... they need medication to control themselves, to concentrate..... a kid that need's boundaries and throw's a fit does not need medication. There's a brain chemical imbalancement problem with ADHD kids. I've seen also ALOT of kids that where misdiagnosed with ADHD and put on medication for the teacher's sake! I'M not pro meds but when you have seen a true ADHD you feel their pain and beg for them to be on something......
