When my daughter, now 18 months, was in full screaming mode, my husband and I got through a lot of it with humor.  It was ridiculous the things my daughter got mad about.  While driving, the car would stop or the speed would change and it pretty much sounded like she was screaming: "Why are you stopping?  I didn't tell you to stop."  A day after taking our baby home, our dogs were looking at us like "Why is that thing making so much noise?  Shouldn't you fix that?"  It also seemed so amazing to me that after day after day of diaper changes, my daughter still thought they were torture.  When she had gas pains, she would scream and scream, fart, and then suddenly stop wailing.  We thought that was pretty funny.  Is there anything you find funny about your high needs baby or taking care of your high needs baby?

hahaha, your daughter sounds like quite the character Laura Smiley

We regularly laugh at Sammy. Sometimes it's all you can do. When he was a baby, my husband called him 'Sir Fussalot'. It sounds crazy, but even calling him something like that made things a tiny bit easier. I also had a onesie for him that said, 'Frequent Crier'. I loved to put that on him, because it made light of a situation that really didn't feel funny at all.
