Any tips on how to give Prevacid to your little one. We are going to try this and see if it works better than Zantac. I hate having to give her medicine, but she definitely has acid reflux. I tried taking her off Zantac (just to see if she was ok without it) and it was a nightmare, back to how it was before. Crazy shrill pain cries all day long when it was happening. So, anybody else have tips on how to give Prevacid? My ped said dilute it in water and give by syringe, but I ended up just making a mess and some of it doesn't get dissolved so it just stays in the syringe.

Hello!
It sounds like you are using the Solutab? I would try different syringes. The pharmacy or the pediatrician may have medication syringes. A slightly bigger opening may allow those pesky beads to sneak by. I know some moms who make a past with the solutab and a bit of water and place it in the gums. That may be messy too...
Maybe someone else has an idea?
