I am so happy to have found this site. My son has been fussy since about 3 weeks old and I seriously thought I was alone. I have had to excuse myself from playdates and Mommy meetup groups because of my son's constant fussing. He must be held and walked around incessantly. Whenever I take him to a friend's I end up roaming their house trying to console him. It's like I can't stimulate him enough. I see other mother's put their baby on a play mat and they just lay there. It's like they are sedated. My son would never go for that. He always needs to be held and even that only does so much. Other mothers don't understand. My son doesn't like his stroller, swing, or saucer. Thank God for the Bjorn! It's the only thing that works. I just don't know how much longer this will last. Everyone told me 4 months is the turning point, but that has come and gone. When does it get easier??

My son is 4 1/2 months...sorry for the typo...I am extrememly sleep-deprived. He is still up every 2 hours at night!

I feel your pain!!

For us, we saw major turning points as he reached each new milestone. The incessant screaming stopped around 3-4 months, but the fussing and whining continued longer. The very day he started crawling (8.5 mths) we saw a HUGE change in him. He was able to get where he wanted to go instead of whining about it.

The girls often seem to turn around at 6 months, but it seems like the boys take longer, sometimes just fading into tough toddler.  But they are all different.
