Mommy to a Fussy Toddler

Hi, I'm Julie and I've been follow the Fussy Baby Site and Facebook page but I'm new to this forum. I have a two and a half year old whom I love dearly but has been fussy since day one. He was diagnosed with reflux at 4 weeks and still takes prilosec every morning. He has recently been diagnosed with a Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD also known as Sensory Integration Disfunction) which is actually a really good thing because he qualifies for occupational therapy through our county's Early Intervention Program. I'm always looking for opportunities to network with other parents experiencing the same things and understand what I'm going through.

Welcome Julie! I'm glad you joined the forum. Sometimes when I've been at the end of my rope, talking to someone who's been there kept me from losing my mind. I hope it does the same for you

Hi Julie, I hope you find that place of sanity here. I know how much it means to have others who understand. What a relief it must have been to have that diagnosis. There are two moms on my birth board who have children diagnosed with SPD (one is about 5 and the other is almost 3). I can tell that from what I know about their experience, OT will do wonders for your son. I've wondered myself if my daughter had SPD, this is not the case but I think she may have some mild tendencies. I posted some information on your other post. Please feel free to send me some info/ask questions and I will do what I can to find you some information from moms who have gone through this.
