I had no idea that there would be anyone else out there who knows what it's like to go through this. My girl is only 6 months old, but I read so much of her in your post. I feel like there is not a single mom I know who understands-I feel like most just pass it off as if it's something I'm doing wrong or not doing right. My husband and I have described our baby as "extra high-maintenance," "extra sensitive," "needy," and have referred to her crying as screeching like a pterodactyl. Like yours, she is super sweet and cute, but when she is upset, there is not a thing we can do to calm her. I feel alone most of the time.
