Practical Discipline Strategies for Spirited Kids: 10 Day Training

Coffee on desk: Practical Discipline Strategies for Spirited Kids

Most of have a pretty good idea of the discipline strategies we’d LIKE to use.

But what do you do when you’re following all the expert “rules”, or a particular parenting style (positive discipline, attachment parenting, RIE, gentle parenting, authoritative parenting, etc.) and still feel like it’s just barely working (or not working at all)?

Or what if you have older kids, and the stuff you did with them just isn’t working for your spirited child? (This was DEFINTELY my experience…I thought I was SUCH a good mom and had everything figured…until #2 came along ?).

In this live 10-day training, we will work on learning and practicing practical and effective discipline strategies for our spirited kids.

Each day, there will be a short lesson in a private Facebook group, a skill or strategy you can implement during the day, and an opportunity to ask for help or report back on how it worked for you.

This is a great opportunity to get to know some other parents, and to practice discipline strategies you can use on an ongoing basis.

The training will include lots of hands-on, practical strategies you can use to help you manage your OWN reactions to your child (this is so hard, but is key!), set limits in a way that doesn’t trigger meltdowns, and help your child meet the limits you’ve set…all while helping you build a stronger, closer relationship with your child.

Here's one one of my recent graduates had to say about the training:

"Every time I used the information with my spirited children (yes, I have 2), I saw immediate results. Of course, every child and family is different but, we had SO many takeaways from this training to use when different situations arise that help keep me focused and calm and results in fewer, less frequent meltdowns. I can’t say enough good things. The only negative I have to say is I wish it was longer!" - Lauren G.

To get the most out of this training, be prepared to spend approximately 20-30 minutes per day reading the lesson, practicing the strategy, and reporting back to your fellow “classmates”.

However, please note that this 30-minutes can happen at any time of the day, so this is doable even if you work full-time or can’t commit to a specific time of day.

Our March session will be taking place Mar. 16-25, 2020.

The early-bird rate for the training (until and including Mar. 1) is $34 USD. After Mar. 1, the rate is $39 USD.

Want to hear what other parents have said about the training?

"I had read a lot about raising a spirited child already but it felt like she just beautifully condensed all the overwhelming and sometimes confusing information and made it more accessible that way. The "homework" tasks were applicable and there was enough time and opportunity to ask questions or clarify new situations we had run into. After 10 days, I really feel it's made a difference already in our family. Thank you, Holly!"

"This training session has been a huge eye opener to me and how I have been contributing to the chaos in our household. I loved implementing all of the approaches and seeing my child respond so positively because there weren’t any power struggles involved and felt that we were working together. I’ve always struggled with connecting with my spirited kiddo but I feel like we’ve been getting to learn more about each other and I am truly grateful for the perspective Holly has given us!".  - Shay Z.

Holding these trainings is such a joy for me, and I’m excited to spend this time together learning and practicing some practical discipline strategies for our amazing, spirited kids ??
